Honestly, I don't remember.

“To me, I be feeling like, I tell people this all the time -- I really feel like a zoo animal. Like that’s where life’s gone for me,” he said. “You know, you used to take your kids to the zoo and we used to be like, you know, 'I want to see the lions' or 'Let’s go see the lions.' And you go out there, and the lions are laid out. You know what I mean?

“And it’s like, why aren’t they doing lion stuff, you know what I mean? Like I’ve got people who call out, 'Odell! Dance!' Like, I’m a show punk, a show monkey or something. Like I’m a puppet, you know what I mean? And it’s like to me, that doesn’t feel good, but it’s like, damn, that’s what life became. But, can you ever really detach from that?”

Not sure what part of what he said you think is unreasonable

He was a guest on Lebron's show and provided a candid response to how he feels, which is the entire point of the show. But I guess if you want to call that crying, whatever

Dude really has a way with words. There's Willam Faulkner, Tennessee Williams, Maya Angelou, and Odell.

On reflection: Santino Marichol *spits* approves of part of this message.

That brave man. Can we start a gofundme so that people won't shout obscenities at Odell like "dance"?

That sounds reasonable. He's probably right. What part is being a crybaby? Like the OP being a crybaby, whining about someone's personal take on the pressures and disengagement from humanity that comes with the limelight?

What I think is unreasonable about what he said is a guy getting paid a gazillion dollars to play a game he loves, and then to bitch about this shite. I'm sorry I don't know the answer to this question, but did he ever get a degree at LSU? Maybe he can get a job in another profession if he's that frustrated.

I'd like to think that you're just being a typical fan sticking up for your own, and that you're really not this stupid.

I really would.

Everybody wants fame until they get it. Then, they just want to bitch about being famous.

There are plenty of really fricking smart football players.

(He does not appear to be one of them. Not linguistically, anyway. I'm an aggy, and even I am a more cunning linguist than he.)

He wasn't a crybaby or this much of a diva. Making this catch changed who he is as a person.

Here's a real easy one to spot out -

A damn zoo animal can't walk out of the zoo whenever they want to.

No one's forcing OBJ to play football. So sick of this mentality that athletes are enslaved to their sport and are exploited. You get paid millions of dollars to play an effin game. Grow TF up.

I'd like to think that you're just being a typical fan taking any opportunity to trash talk another team's own, and that you're really not this stupid.

See how that works? Look, he's not being a crybaby. Heck yea, I'd love to have millions and play on Sunday. But he's more than likely correct--you're expected to be the version that people have of you in their minds, and I'm sure it feels like people don't see you individually, just as a caricature of your position. That's fair. He's not saying it's not worth it or he won't play anymore because of it. I'd feel the same if Julio said it. Why you feel the need to cry about someone's reasonable observations, though, is beyond me.
