Muschamp walked into what should have been a low pressure, easy to recruit job with the expectations of stringing together some decent seasons

In what fricking world is South Carolina an easy to recruit job?

Please don't make us relive the atrocious Chad Morris and his club dub again!

Come on man, Chad Morris was the worst hire all time for Arkansas, most likely the SEC and probably in the running for all conferences for all time. Yes he was really that bad.

I'm old, I've watched a lot of football in a lot of decades.. I cannot recall ever there being a coach as bad as him and a team give up as bad.. on any level. fricking middle schools you don't see that.

He was so bad that when he went to Auburn the next year they needed the refs to beat an Arkansas team having to rebuild from nothing.. and his cancer is so bad he played a role in getting their coach fired.

WORST COACH OF ALL TIME, EVERYWHERE!

you typed 103 words and only 7 were relevant beyond what was otherwise random babble.

Muschamp was really such a fricking loser

it's amazing Dan Mullen was at Mississippi State for 9 years and only had 1 winning season in league play - yet he was allowed to remain HC.

Muschamp only had 1 winning season in league play at Carolina, but was fired seven games into year 5.

The bigger issue for me was how SC thought they were getting something more than was Muschamp was showing at Florida.

I didn’t like Dan Mullen his last 4 years at State. I don’t know why you are so eager to deflect from your own shitty AD and hiring of Muschamp.

I thought Dan should have been shown the door the first time he pulled his whole ‘shopping around at other programs before the season’s over’ gimmick.

Dan being an a-hole doesn’t negate Muschamp being a loser. Muschamp is a massive loser man - come on.

Maybe this thread should have compared Muschamp to a Tenn hire because I underestimated how passionate the hatred for Chad is in Arkansas, and if you cause a fanbase to hate you that much, you clearly suck.
I really thought SC fans hated Muschamp too. The ones I’ve talked to couldn’t stand him.

Chad Morris was probably the worst coach in the SEC since expansion. Possibly ever.

All I really know about Chad is the results. I didn’t follow all of his games except the MSU ones. Why did he do so poorly?

Could it be that he went to Texas A&M?

I promise you Gus didn’t hire Chad for him to actually be the OC. Gus needed a “yes man” to stand on the sidelines and act like he’s doing something. We know now that Gus never stopped calling the plays

No one likes Texas A&M...
No one likes Chad Morris...

It does make sense. You’re pretty smart for a Mizzou fan. I knew there’s a reason we’re keeping you around but kicking shitty A&M out.

I agree with this and I also have no idea how he played A&M closer than Pittman and Muschamp. Its like we shite the bed every year when we play Arkansas and find some miracle to squeak out a victory.

Doesn't matter how bad Arkansas is or how shitty your coach is, you guys play us close every year. It reminds me a lot of our games against Texas Tech in the Big 12.
