Of all the hires since Saban left. It appears they have fallen all the way back down to pre Saban LSU!
It will be a ground up restoration for the new staff!!

Not sure about it but I can see he was kind of a miserable person. It seems customary that when a coach is fired someone has something good to say about the man.
I’ve not looked, but it seems near universal that no one has a good thing to say about the guy.

We have a great recruiter who cannot coach an Oline
We have a QB who refuses to throw more than 10 yars downfield and loves some checkdowns

Probably half of what we are hearing is made up, but even then its very concerning. Seems like we didn't really even have a head coach, we had an old dickhead that played golf.

The problem for LSU is that Nick Saban permanently altered their expectations.
LSU is an 8-4 program who will occasionally have a 10+ win season. Now they are firing coaches when they go 8-4. It is going to be an ugly cycle at LSU.
Nick Saban was 26-12 his first three seasons at LSU. Brian Kelly was 29-11 his first three seasons at LSU.
It won’t matter who LSU hires until they temper their expectations.

You could make the argument he was on paper the best hire LSU ever made. The winningest coach in Notre Dame history…That is easily their biggest hire ever and they will never top that
