He was douchey, disruptive, self-serving, roided up prick that turned out to be a titanic bust n the pros once the steroids were taken away from him. He infuriated basically everyone that had to deal with him from Switzer to his teammates.
There is a reason his openly crying all through that 30 for 30 about him. He knows he was one of the greatest asshats in college football history and has remorse.

Johnny was an amazing college athlete that didn’t translate well to the NFL. His problem was substance abuse, mental illness, and lack of maturity.
It seems like he’s mostly straightened out or at least not in the news.
He hosts a video podcast now. I’ve only seen snippets but he’s getting some big names from the college and pro world. I have to think those folks wouldn’t participate if they thought he was a POS.

Did they attribute his actions to CTE? I watched most of that documentary on Netflix. Dude's brain was anatomically disfigured.
It made me think differently about how a person could be brain injured or mentally ill and do things like that.

JFF was superb in college football.
