Batter struck out, but catcher dropped ball, batter runs to first, guy on third scores on a bad attempt to throw him out at third.

Bottom of the 7th, LSU up by 9. Runner on 2nd and 2 strikes on the batter. Strike 3 got by the catcher and the batter made it to first. The runner on 2nd went to 3rd but made too big of a turn so the catcher threw the ball to 3rd but it was a bad throw. The runner broke home because the throw was behind him then the 3rd basement threw home and it was a bad throw and the runner slid in safe under the tag.

Arkansas dropped a ball in foul territory and soon after LSU scored the winning run

That little hop by the home plate ump when he makes the safe call is funny to me for some reason. He sure seemed excited.

I think they lost because they couldn’t hit Eyanson and LSU scored in 6 of 7 innings and hit four home runs. The game ended because of that crazy play.

Think about how boring/similar most games are from his pov. He had to be so excited to make that call

He probably was quite excited he didn’t have to ump another two innings.

WRONG

Did the catcher not drop the ball?

Does the catcher not sit in foul territory?

Did LSU not score the winning run soon after?

RIGHT

It happening with 2 outs and Arky had just added 3 runs in the top of the 7th trying to prevent the run rule made it especially delicious.

The way the home up jumped you’d think he had money riding on the game.
