Yeah, ok. You don’t understand business. Did Devonta make well over 250 k for Bama this year?? I will give Saban credit for understanding business much better than you.

We are all guilty, and I am not just talking about the schools in the SEC. Virtually everyone involved in a major has cheated in some manner.

Devonta didn’t make an extra dime for Bama until Jaylen Waddle got hurt. Waddle had 591 yards, 4 TDs, and was averaging over 21 yards per catch through 4 games. Devonta finished with less than 90 yards receiving in 3 of his first 5 games.

But sure, tell me all about how much you know, business guru tigerskin.

You seriously just tried to downplay Devonta’s 117 receptions, 1856 yards and 23 td’s last year. Strong work.

Be sure and tell Saban he only needs 1 receiver on the field at a time next year.

Reading comprehension of LSU fans, ladies and gentlemen.

You should re-read my post and try again.

Re-read mine. You need more than 1 receiver.

Your attempts of “Alabama intellectual superiority” are funny though.

Couldn’t be any more irrelevant to the context you’re quoting than it is.

Keep going, you’ll figure it out soon.

ETA: You actually won’t. You backed yourself into a corner, and you’re attempting to shift the convo.

Bama wouldn’t have won it all without Devonta, regardless of Waddle’s injury status. Spin that however you want.

Should I go back and pull all of the Bama posts begging Devonta to stay last year, well before the “one man show and will do it all by himself Waddle” got hurt?

That’s a silly statement. Are you saying that if Devonta had been injured instead of Waddle, Bama wouldn’t have won it all? Who beats us? Give me a break.

Back to the original comment - I find it wildly absurd that you believe paying $250,000 to a guy who was rated as the 4th best WR on his own team last year by NFL scouts was a good “business decision,” as if anyone had any idea that he would produce as much as he did. He was a clear #2 WR on his own team going into this year, but by coming back he went from being the #8-10 WR on draft boards to unanimous Top 3. It doesn’t take $250,000 to convince someone that’s a good decision.

I’m amazed that you people actually exist.

It is irrelevant where he stood on the depth chart the year before with guys that were not going to be on the team the next year.

Saban knew his worth going forward, compensated him accordingly and he was right.

That is why he is where he is and you are where you are.

Saban is just thankful that people like you have no life and will turn over your life savings to facilitate the payments.

I am amazed that people like you exist.

The check must have bounced for Jamarr Chase.

Laughing at yourself about a statement that isn’t funny is weird. Just letting you know.

Has anybody asked him a bout Derek Brown?

The guy had absolutely no reason to return his senior year.He was gonna be top 10 pick regardless of when he left.

Both Devonta Smith and Nick Chubb improved their draft status by staying.

Hasn't Auburn had/have a few of Probst's players on their roster?

Not exactly...we had Josh Chapman all wrapped up but he had some grade issues and could qualify, only to miraculously have that 9th grade year disappear thanks the the REC and he is suddenly eligible at Bama. Hey, smoke’em if you got’em, I reckon.

Auburn fan condemning another school for cheating is like a bank robber condemning a shoplifter at a dollar general store.
