They told me 2 months ago that it wouldn’t matter.

I really wanted to be able to say a former big 12 team lost to a new big 12 team

Go big on tennessee straight up if that line holds (and that's why you're asking). I would.

They suck, but make no mistake, they'll show up for the Texas game.

that might change after this newest week 2 data point. I expect a close game either way

Yup, but still: that was a clusterfrick and they better clean that shite up this weekend.

The OL actually played decent for most of the game but the QB got unnecessarily panicky far too often. RB's missing assignments left & right. And still with the vanilla play-calling.. almost got them beat by Cougar High.

IMO that’s when I’ll know if Texas is for real is if they can beat OU

Last year everyone said they would whip them and OU dominated that game. They’ve owned that series recently and Sark needs to win this year

That’s one game, regardless of how the teams look, It will be a dogfight and anything can happen.

Oklahoma did not dominate the game last year so clearly you didn't watch. They won and Texas choked but not domination. That happened in 2022

Regardless Texas has to get past the OU jinx, especially this year where they host UGA the next week. They can’t take OU for granted

Obviously the SEC teams on our schedule can skip preparing for OU. Just look ahead to the opponent you play after OU….

And the fact that the jury's still out on Venables as a head coach. I don't think he's gonna make it. I think he'll be gone in a couple of years and if Huepel does good at Tennessee he'll be their next coach.

They will. They still have top 8 talent roster according to 24/7. They won’t go belly up. They are favored against Tenn and should be favored in every game except probably Ole Miss, Mizzou and maybe LSU.

They should go 10-2/9-3. Tennessee is a huge game and Norman will be rocking. Anyone assuming Nico is going to just walk in and dominate is crazy.

I also think they beat Bama at home
