Kinda like the Gumptards on here that were proclaiming LSU's programs to be dead in the water after 1/9 and hoping Mettenberger is no better than the shite-fest we've had at QB for 4 years amirite?

You're not right. No one does that, at least not that I've seen/heard.

Of course you haven't. I'm just making that up.

Yeah I really haven't. Not here, nor in real life. If they said that they were either idiots or trolling you.

See some LSU fans like to grab hold of what one guy said, and turn it into what the entire fanbase thinks....Pretty comical actually.

No Bama fan believes that LSU is somehow "dead in the water".....well, maybe your offense on 01/09....
seriously though, no one is assuming LSU will not be the team to beat this year.....

i refuse to read this entire thread, but what i have seen so far is a bunch of lsu fans acting like the possibility of lacy being a great runningback this year is laughable, and that the lsu runningbacks are vastly better than alabama's group, which i think is funny. Lacy has not yet been the go to guy, has only taken 151 snaps in 2 years, and has still rushed for more than any of your backs, going for 1080 yards, for a career average of 7.15 ypc. Your leading rusher is Ford, who has 1024 yards on 172 carries in his career, for 5.95 ypc. Our other experienced back Folwer has 496 yards on only 70 carries, 7.11 ypc. Your next highest rusher Ware has 882 yards on 201 carries, 4.28 ypc. Then you have Blue at 640 yards, 6.53 yps, and Hilliard, 336 yards, 5.4 ypc. Lacy is as good or better than any of your backs statistically speaking, and thats with being the 3rd running back for a year and playing most of another year with turf toe. If lacy is healthy next year and is over the turf toe, he will lead the SEC in rushing, partly because he will be running behind the best oline, but also becasue he is just a damn good runningback.

Holy shite.
No one is going to read the clusterfrick of a post.
Use some punctuation/paragraphs next time.

These are the same rantards who declared Eddie Lacy the superior back after Trent Richardson's performance in the first two games of the 2011 season.

OMG! He's going to average 14.2, now.

"We didn't say that." or "We were just kidding."

When they have nothing to say about what you typed, they'll just attack the way you typed it, it's a common move on this site.

Ok. Sorry, 21.3 avg. I low balled him a little.
Posted on 8/1/12 at 11:18 am to thatdude1985
I'm pretty sure Eddie Lacy was the love child of Bo Jackson and Hershal Walker, with Barry Sanders shiftiness. To say he only averages 7.1 per carry is ludicrous.

Still sounds a little low....

how many 50+ yard games did he have in SEC play last year?
Do you think all four of Lsu's, combined will break 40 yards against Bama this year?

S. Ware 3 carries 7 yds 2.3 avg 0 TD's 5 long
M. Ford 4 carries 1 yd 0.3 avg 0 TD's 3 long

Weren't you the guy trying to act all high-and-mighty when insulting TTs about how cultured you are?
You are nothing but a child. Grow up Peter Pan. Quit throwing your little temper tantrums with elementary school insults. With your post history, I'm surprised you really didn't get serious and throw a "barn" reference in there. So much intellectual prowess.

I don't give a shite about this whole argument. If I did, I would have actually had a post previous to the last one about Lacy. Run along now junior.
