We suck here in the SEC-E, that's true. But in UT's defense -- and I apologize to God for my horrific sin of defending UT -- they played the best team in the country and a very tough Arkansas team cross-division, and the second best team in the country OOC. The argument about Tennessee's division collapses under the weight of the facts of UT's schedule.

As much fun as it is rustling UT's jimmies, the point about their schedule is true. They played two of the four playoff teams, taking one to double OT and leading the other in the 4th quarter.
Meanwhile, Northwestern was losing to Michigan and Iowa by 30+ points.
The Vols should skullfrick them.
