Nico is one of those QB's who finally puts it all together during their contract year, but that will mean one more season of mediocrity no matter where he plays.
If I'm being 100% totally honest, I think he will be fine. He came in to hype that literally no QB could live up to, that's why Arch was fine shirting his first season and even playing backup for this one. QB is the toughest position on the field and development and experience is key.

Tennessee obviously has only a small number of boosters with any money. I am sure they are humiliated by what happened in the playoffs.
I am not surprised that they are backing away from their NIL commitments. It is wasted money. Just like oklahoma and alabama, I think we have seen the last of tennessee football relevance.

If he were to leave, he won't get the same money. The only way he continues to make what he has is if he stays at Tennessee and their NIL boosters don't figure a way out of it.
If true, this might be a sign they aren't going to keep paying him 2-million a year to be a bad fit for the Heupel offense.

If he can’t learn to throw with touch or not panic beyond the first read he will not shine anywhere. Seen this often. Talented kid with rocket arm that can only throw fastballs.
