Tennessee's athletic department is doing quite well; however, Florida and LSU have consistently been the two best overall programs and have demonstrated they can win NCAA titles in multiple sports. The Gators are the only SEC program to win titles in football, baseball and hoops and have won more titles across more sports than Tennessee.

Too bad your football program is currently a dumpster fire though..That kind of ruin things as a fan for all sports. Just ask Kentucky and Arky fans haha.

It's always good to be a Vol and i live in the present moment. You should try it sometime.

All of the top overall athletic departments don't actually win much. Of the top 10 in the directors cup rankings after the winter season ended, the only ones to win an actual championship were OSU (Women's Ice Hockey) and Penn State (Wrestling).

Tennessee sat in 4th in those rankings which is pretty good.

I think a national title run is realistic. You do too. The difference is in our programs:

Uga is “consistently elite”, vols have been bad for 20 years.

Tennessee is 11th, one spot behind Alabama.
Hardly the best athletic program in the nation.

They changed it to "Citrus" bowl because you could spell "Tangerine" without the "U"....
