Yeah I saw the UGa coaches jumping up and down with glee when they blitzed the corner and he knocked the QB out of the game and ran the fumble back for a TD. Seemed like a weird reaction when up 20+ with less than 5 minutes in the game.

It’s great to see it. That was vintage vols that first quarter. Going to be fun watching them the rest of the season. The tv showed that their new qb is better than Payton. Happy for their fans. Guessing they all woke up with smiles in their faces this morning

Last night the Vols looked like a team that has the talent to compete, but that talent has no idea what it is doing, and loses motivation as soon as things go against them. That’s coaching.

Doubtful, but I will agree that UGA is perhaps the most boring team in American right now., and perhaps the most conservative. It is clear from the ND and UT games that our plan every week is to open with the most vanilla offense and defense strategy possible and then see what happens. The defense, especially makes good adjustments at halftime, as both ND and UT essentially were neutered in the second halves, but our offense is not explosive and our defense is not nasty. It does make me concerned when we play teams like LSU and Bama (Florida is not as concerning because they aren’t really explosive at all on offense) because you run the risk of being down 21 points before deciding its time to adjust. I also think that UGAs coordinators right now have been outcoached in multiple games, especially in the first half. With Jake Fromm, who seems to be making outstanding decisions this year, we will be good, but the vaunted rushing attack has been pretty average against real FBS teams so far. Hopefully UGA can get better as the year progresses.
