Nico isn't physically ready to start against SEC defenses...He's a stick and would get broken into...They don't want to get their backup No.2 QB hurt.

I am not on board with Milton just yet either.
I’m going wait and see how he does the next couple games.
I think he gets nervous and over throws. Plus he doesn’t seem to want to scramble.
Hooker would run if an opening was there.
I seen Milton at the Vandy game last year.

I'm onboard with Milton still but his leash should be very short.
Am giving him another chance this weekend.
Have gone back and watched the game multiple times.
Milton was bad but a lot of it was miscues by the entire offense as a unit. WRs were awful as well.
To be fair the offense has started it's first three games off as slow under Heupel so far each year before clicking.
This is obviously a make or break game for Milton though.
If he comes out and looks like he did against Austin Peay again, he should never see the field as our starting QB again imo considering considering we can't afford to redshirt Nico right now.

Yep.... he's scared to scramble it seems. He definitely has the ability but stubbornly just holds the ball forever before finally throwing an errant fastball somewhere hardly catchable or dumps it to the flat.
He's definitely in his head and imo plays like he's scared of making a mistake or throwing an interception. We need a gunslinger mentality at least if you are too stubborn or scared to take off and truck someone.

So many people are overreacting and making snap judgements. The only thing we know for sure is that Heupel will be fired before the end of the season.
