Football GPAs mean absolutely nothing. Many players don't go to class and are assigned grades.

D'wan Mathis' fall to Davenport University also speaks loudly about his ability to play college quarterback.

Unless you’re an Ivy or Ivy adjacent, no one cares. Outside of the South people regard Ole Miss, Tennessee, Georgia, Texas, etc as Redneck U. If you go to U of Chicago, Stanford, MIT, Duke, Cal Tech you can talk. Even Vandy isn’t Ivy adjacent.

Vanderbilt University: 18
University of Florida: 30
University of Texas—Austin: 30
University of Georgia: 46
Texas A&M University: 51
None of the other schools are in the top 100. Who cares what someone up north thinks. They're all ultra-liberal snowflake factories.

I’m happy for the two of you. Doesn’t change the fact it was a deep defense, a decent running game and a fortunate schedule that got them 2 titles. And obviously it is sustainable.

No one regards Texas as "Redneck U" and same goes for Georgia Tech. Where did you come up with that bullshite?

Football teams at the big D1 schools have tutors that help them do their homework and stuff. And they have their own professors sometimes because most of them all major in the same thing and take the same classes. Mostly everyone at UT Austin majors in Sports Management or some crap. I never had a single football player in any of my classes and if they were, they never went to class.

No one with half a brain pays buys into “school rankings”. They’re not impressed that Redneck U1 is marginally better than Redneck U2 according to some flawed US News & World Report ranking. It isn’t only people in the north, it’s the whole country excluding the south. The people that control this country don’t come from Athens, Knoxville or Starkville.
