So it is not our fans you have an issue with, its our new coach. Guess Bama was the only school with inbreds at the airport then.

fricking carbon copy of his first 3 years here.

I will say though that he mellowed out after that. Some of our fans were starting to get restless with him because we kept flaming out in the sweet 16. That looks silly now.

What do you think Charlene or whatever her name was would have done to Saban in a mosh pit? Would have been dangerous to his manhood.

Something tells me that Bruce will have renewed energy, stamina, and motivation having been out of coaching for 3 years.

"...we kept flaming out in the Sweet 16"

Sounds a lot like the Wimp Sanderson era at Alabama. Routinely got to the Sweet 16 but hit a brick wall after that. Wimp was 0-7 in his 7 trips to the Sweet 16.

He finally got to the elite 8 in year 5, but it was a totally different style.

A lot less flair and theatrics and more just we had better players than you and we're going to out-execute you.

He learned his lesson in year 3. We had a top 5 team talent wise, but we tried to press and shoot 3s in the tourney and Louisville manhandled us in the sweet 16.

I'm actually enjoying this lol.

Congrats Auburn, that is a good hire. The fact this makes TN and Bama mad is an added bonus lmao.

No I think you got a great coach....the thing that gets me was the crowd was in a frenzy, much like Saban's arrival, it just seems to me the conduct of one fanbase is accepted while the other is not.

Probably because the people at the Auburn airport are generally sober and wearing shoes.

And I highly doubt Pearl was asked to sign pregnant women's bellies.

I'm just really happy we never have to see that HORRIBLE ORANGE SUIT EVER AGAIN.
Auburn, please don't let him paint his stupid chest again either.

In a rare moment of honesty...if it was your normal students who showed up to greet Saban, you'd be right. Nobody could really say anything. But unfortunately big events for Alabama draw people in from out in the BFE portions of Alabama and give it a totally different vibe.
