Triggered? LMAO. Are you 12?

Not my fault that you don't know the difference between who needed who to get over the hump.

Congrats to LSU for making $28,000 last year.

In my day, 28,000 a year was a damn good salary. Someone at LSU got paid.

This entire thread has been quite entertaining. With that said:

I, as a Tiger fan, am absolutely worried about all the spending and whether the article is true. If the Kiffin experiment doesn't pan out, and quickly (within 3 years max), there's going to be problems. And I wouldn't expect boosters to keep throwing money at the program.

I hate these giant contracts with all this guaranteed money, and the "incentives" ie extra money if they win the conference or the national championship pale in comparison to their salary even if they went 0 and 12, so they don't really have to care or work hard if they don't want to. It's almost like winning a lottery. It's ridiculous.

One day you might actually follow your Alabama program as closely as you do LSU.

My therapist uses that word all the time. I don't think many twelve year olds know it

Let’s pretend that is true. How has that been working out for you?

Ausberry remains cautious on extreme measures like private equity: “Well, you do a private equity firm, that’s a different ballgame. They come in with a certain percentage long term, how does that look? … You deal with private equity, they’re going to want some long-term inventory. Once you get certain benchmarks, how long does that go? Short term or long term? And a lot of times with private equity, they come in and start controlling things. You lose some control when you deal with private equity.” He sums up the urgency: “We can’t afford to keep paying coaches, paying players the way we are. It’s not sustainable. The money has to come from somewhere… Like, soon. Very soon. We have to figure out as administrators, what is this going to look like?”

LSU is all in. Lanes a great OC. He better get some good coordinators.

Just look how Saban went downhill when he got old and young good coordinators went elsewhere.

LSU is lucky their state is loaded with great athletes, but you gotta win at the LOS also. I hate to see teams pay so much that it drives up the price for everyone. None of the kids give a shite about the school or learning anything.
Neither would I if I could get 900 thousand or more to play football.

I hope some teams, looking at uTX and Michigan or even Oregon to see if they also go crazy.

I'm bigtime Bama but we'll never be the rich kids on the block.

It’s from a notorious hack named Glenn Gilbeau

Sorry you’re broke and Saban left

If Lane flames out it will be a minor setback. LSU will overcome it. Overall athletic program is very strong.
