No school has left the SEC since 1966. What does it matter?

Ok, and your point?

You were saying that Texas and OU were going to run away. I pointed out that only A&M is known for running away back in 2011 due to their bad records against the teams in the Big 12

Texas still has a winning record over every single team in the Big 12 sans WVU

They have been prepping for the horns and sooners. They know these two might try to bolt after getting a taste of the SEC grind.

Texass will be more than happy to be the Vandy of the west.

Chokelahoma will struggle to be an 8 win team.

They'll take that 30 mil. and be happy.

Can the agreement be modified to PAY Mizzou 45 million to leave?

And the same for aggy.

I wonder how this can occur - without some kind of vote by the member institutions. Doesn't seem quite according to Hoyle, that the league office could unilaterally institute this, without some vote by the membership.

Frankly - it also seems like the easy out for Oklahoma and Texas to back out of joining the league. Honestly - I'll still believe Texas joins in and when they play their first game, and not until then.

Edit - oops, says right in the article, this was approved unanimously by the membership. Wow. This really is the Texas Bylaw. Damn.

A&M left in response to your failed attempt to basically keep any high school athlete in any sport who doesn't sign with t.u. off TV.

I think it's fitting though that, since you set foot on campus as a student that your team has 5 times as many losing seasons as 10-win seasons.

I don't like it. Suppose Vandy wanted out? I wouldn't want to charge them a fee to leave. Not that I want them to leave, but I would understand if they decided to compete with other like-minded universities.

Texas could pay the 30 faster than any other school, I think they're talking about aggy since they were threatening to leave during the height of their melt.

Interesting. Why would Bama, UGA, LSU, etc want to stay in the SEC when Amazon, YT, etc will offer more lucrative and individual streaming deals? This could be the first step to national super-leagues.

Yeah - it's all about the Aggies. That's why the Aggies voted for it. Unless the word "unanimous" changed on me in the last hour or so - the Aggies approved this the same as the rest of the league.

So ... sure ... the Aggies approved a measure aimed at the Aggies. You betcha'. Got it in one take, ShortHorn. Take the rest of the day off - you earned it.

Lol when you're so desperate that you have to make up stuff against the team that always has and always will have an insane head-to-head record over your school.
