Or they might know more. If they're really as connected as many say, I'm sure they've got legit contacts with McGregor and may know more than everyone else right now.

Yeah, Vegas has made its reputation as the gambling mecca of the world by knowing what everyone else knows...
ETA: Also, they are gambling mecca because it is and has been legal there for a long time . The house makes money primarily because the odds are tilted in their favor.
ETA2: This guy makes money because degenerate gamblers pay him for his "insider" picks, which, if they were so good, he would play himself instead of selling them to others.

So what does this guy win by being the 1,000 customer to step up and say that something really bad is about to come out about Auburn?
Secondly, how the hell is he going to compare the hypothetical NCAA sanctions against Ohio State's? That investigation is still going on and no one, not even the NCAA has a clue what the penalties will be against Ohio State.
Also, hasn't Ohio State received a PLOI? Has Auburn?
