Way too optimistic. I'll start . There are 8 teams in a national championship. Whut? And the defending champ is McKendree University, which I've honestly never heard of. But they're the Bogeys, so that's kinda cool.

Her timing was probably way off in that shot, she's most of the way through her slide before she began her downstroke.

Not surprised they're all from schools from fly over states.

Does anyone actually fly to Georgia to visit Georgia? Isn't it just a flyover hub, like St. Louis?

Great destination.

Still bummed they would have had a team in Fayetteville except Bert kept eating the balls.

Vanderbilt has 2 All Americans

Quah also won the Elite 90 (given across all NCAA sports)
NCAA's Elite 90 Award, which is presented at every NCAA championship event to the student-athlete with the highest grade point average among the teams in the field. Kristin Quah, double majoring in biomedical and electrical engineering, carries a 3.953. I think this is the first Vanderbilt student athlete to win the award. Probably hard to carry a near 4.0 while competing in sports.

Care to elaborate?

They were making a big deal about women's bowling in Saint Louis about a century ago.

The sponsors were (I think)
Tropicana Lanes
St Louis Sports Authority
University of Central Missouri (the Mules and Jennies)

What Elite 90 winners did you have at your alma mater?

Tropicana would have been a fabulous bowling alley to have it at, about 35 years ago. Extremely outdated, and pretty ghetto.

Question for the Mizzou fans on here

It looks like Central Missouri is closer to the western part of the state. Since the championship is in Saint Louis, isn't Mizzou closer? If so, why did Mizzou not sponsor this years tourney in St Louis? If so the early rounds might have been on SECN.
