This was your home schedule the year before you went to the SEC.

Mizzou's full schedule was the 9th toughest in the nation in 2011. Played four 10+ win teams including a 12-1 OSU squad.

Oh yeah, Mizzou won that matchup with Texas, thanks for the reminder. I was at that game, and the Texas offense was one of the worst P5 offenses I can recall ever seeing. Good defensive team, however. Final score 17-5.

This has to be the worst P5 home schedule I’ve ever seen. This should totally prepare UTx for the murderers row of the SEC in 2024 ??

This is why I think just saying you're playing a p5 opponent doesn't mean you're playing a quality opponent.

Congrats on that 2011 win? Mizzou was 2-8 against Texas in the Big 12.

So the takeaway from this thread is that Texas is basically Mizzou for all practical purposes? All hat, no cattle as you chumps like to say.

Definitely fair to say that Texas's worst run is equivalent to Missouri's average.

Shut your whore mouth simpleton, Texas is a Blue Blood. No wonder Bama thinks y'all are nothing but new success trash.

The difference is we know we are middle class. You’ve been the exact same program but with PUF funds. Welcome to reality.
So you're bragging that the single greatest era in Missouri football is barely a shade better than undoubtedly the single worst era in Texas football history?

No Texas fan is going to argue that we've been underwhelming in football in that very specific time period you picked. The difference is: we'll have hope moving forward. Missouri doesn't have hope... ever

Also, for having such a better record than Texas in that time period, what happened the last time each team played? Certainly the team that was favored didn't get ran out of the stadium by the underdog, right? Right???!

They couldn't even beat a 6 win Texas team

While we do have a long row to hoe, they have absolutely nothing.

Very fair.

This comment was widely ridiculed, and rightfully so. Only a total dumb@$$ or complete blowhard would say that 5-7 is better than 12-2.

Only a total dumbass would confuse "year" with "years" or "good" vs "best".

Missouri has a lifetime winning % of .541, the statement stands.

Texas is going to be the textbook example of FAFO come 2024.

And then Missouri fans were quick to whine incessantly about it during the build up of the last time we played. And a favored 7-5 Missouri team was utterly decimated by a 6-6 first-year coached Texas team despite the Tigers players talking shite the entire week of bowl festivities

Never forget what you are, Missouri: a team whose good years (everybody was over the moon that your coach got you to 7-5 in 2017) are worse than our bad years (which everyone agreed 2017 was underwhelming for Texas)

No, this board has already given that designation to us.
