UTRGV was Pan American. Just like A&M Kingsville was Texas A&I. Dumb they renamed them.

They had LSU and Texas baseball games on dual screens at home while everyone else was enjoying the day

Just refer to them as UTA or TAU(Texas-Austin University). They do not deserve yo be called UT, or even to go by it. There has been multiple reasons, and another one was added today.
UT= Tennessee and always will. Texas will be competing with USCjr, Vandy, and Mizzou when they come into the SEC. frick them!

And yea, Mississippi State is our rival. Believe it or not, we hate them just as much as you hate Texas, but I don’t think I’ve ever paid attention to one of their mid week baseball games that didn’t involve Ole Miss.

You can’t take Vitello from Tennessee. We will match whatever you offer him. If Texas called, he wouldn’t even answer the phone. He goes to Texas, he ends up another winning coach at Texas. He can do everything at Knoxville as he can do at Texas. And case you haven’t realized, Tennessee is spending as much money as anyone in Baseball now. Also he is having a direct hand in designing the new Lindsey Nelson Stadium. UT is spending $98 million just in baseball renovations.
Vitello dad loves it in Knoxville and a Vitello is loyal. Tennessee gave him a shot when no one else would because of his age and lack of experience. He’s not leaving Knoxville and our Athletic Director will make sure of that he’s already in top 3 in pay right now, and Danny White will make him the highest paid if he has to

We’re laughing too. How Pierce has managed to even have the success he’s had here I really don’t know. Even in those CWS appearances I think the fan base realized it still wasn’t the standard and that Pierce wasn’t cut out for this job. Interestingly enough Texas has never had a coach fired or leave on bad terms that I can think of in the entire history of the program. I forget the circumstances with Augie, but everyone knows what I mean.
Only reason we are 9-6 in league is the Big 12 is equally as awful this year. Just a very bad league that doesn’t deserve many postseason bids.
Could we have a first since 1978…no LSU or Texas in the postseason??
