WR Eric Shaw (.9076 4* per 247)
any inside info on why they're leaving? lost their spot? can't deal with Rattler?

Neither really got any meaningful playing time while here but it still sucks to lose good talent. Not sure where they'll end up.

It doesn't mean anything, but it does suggest that they aren't excited about Rattler. But could be a hundred other reasons.

LSU feels your pain!
Powers allegedly stems from disciplinary issues. He's been in the doghouse a couple times over the last year or two he's been on campus.
I really hate that Shaw is leaving. I think he has excellent athleticism, but he was brought in originally to play either LB or TE but has been unable to put on the requisite weight to play either position and was recent moved to WR before he decided to try and play elsewhere.

They’re all right. None of these guys were meaningful contributors, some reportedly had discipline issues, and it is part of getting our numbers below the limit.

FYI, Rattler finished last season with the highest completion percentage in CFB at 74.9%

These guys have never really panned out despite the higher star ratings. Bottom line is there were 91 on scholarship and 85 allowed so 6 have to go. And I'll add if there is someone in the portal that the staff sees as helping what they want to do, you may see another one or two leave to make room.
