Yea, I remember when LSU ran that outdated offense.
You remember?

Don't know the man. Nor his mom so it's a given he ain't mine. And there you go thinking, which is God's way of thinning the herd of those unqualified to do so. But since you brought it up it's my opinion (which is a hell of a lot better than most when it comes to CFB) that JP is a rough cut customer. The kind you wouldn't necessarily want as the PR guy in a Wall Street firm.

And a football coach who has left a trail of winning and having big time coaches fighting to employ him. Names like Saban, Richt, and Fisher and Fulmer wanting him. He was associated with close to all the national title winners for a stretch. And was magic on the recruiting trail. His boss trusting him with the bluest of blue chippers and he by damn brought most of them home to UA, FSU and UGA.

Several big names among the assistant ranks have flocked to work for and with him. Guys that were reputed to be great coaches at Bama, Georgia, Auburn, and elsewhere. Did they all simultaneously go deaf, dumb and blind when they hit the city limits of K-town?

But it is always about the players. There is a reason UGA, UA, LSU, Clemson, OSU and OU are bunched at the top. You've gotta have 'em and you've gotta develop them. Pruitt will deal off the top of the deck or the bottom depending on the circumstances to get them and great AA athletes relate to him. So I like his chances getting a bunch of them back in Knoxville.

UT was fricked going into 2018 and double fricked going into 2019. But he'll beat somebody this year just like he did last year. He has beat AU's arse in JH more recently than two of the Gods of football, Saban and Smart have. With maybe 10 players on his roster that could make either's traveling squad.

All that said he's gotta win, but not this year. Next yr he'll need to get 7 or 8. And by 2021 he'll need to position UT to compete. And he will. Will he ever out recruit UGA? No. That's shooting fish in a barrel for a staff that's as good as his and cheats as well and as much as he does. And as good as it gets in the SEC. Plus UGA spends more money than any school in America supporting the program through recruiting. But he'll get his. And he'll work. Either way he is a multi-millionaire and could buy and sell most any poster on here several times over. Not you I'm sure but me? Yeah he could and I've made a little change. Not bad for a Sand Mtn walk on.

They have more talent than 9 teams on their schedule, so wrong as usual.

Buy the paper and read George Schroeder. You've got a buck seventy five haven't you.

Edit to say I didn't read he Monday edition, I'm quoting Schroeder's article today. But both say the same basic thing. LSU has hop scotched both Georgia and Bama.

Tua makes SE look like a HS passer. SE is a better power runner than Tua - that's it. It should be fun. At least y'all have hope this year.

You lost me there. SE is a very good passer. Tua hasn’t played anyone with a pulse yet and won’t for a while so put the koolaid down

Didn't say I agreed. But LSU looked close to like an NFL team on the hoof. Bigger and faster and about as nasty as any CFB team I've seen. Hell their receivers looked like tight ends and were running free. But they better buckle it up against UA and AU and if they win those UGA and for sure Clemson if they are gonna go down as LSU's dream team.

I was also very impressed with this Ehrlinger (SP?). Damn he is a gamer. He drug Texas back into the contest where they were over matched. We've got us a hell of a season...I think.

LMAO!It is good for some comic relief.

I'm assuming most of your posts are made in a drunken stuper or when you get up from your mid day nap to change your depends. No need to be ashamed. Most folks your age have those "issues"

Ya think maybe because both played a better Auburn team in '17???? WTF does '17 have to do with'18?

How many on Georgia State could make UT's traveling squad?

Can't disagree there.Fat Jim Chaney is already thinking about all the Ribeyes and Filets he's gonna eat when he retires to his mountain cabin.

Had 2'buddies that got out of college coaching in the '90's because of the grind and pay and both had no idea what coaches would be making today
