The UNC classes were 100% real, and attended by regular students. Did Pearl convince regular students to lie about committing violations? If he had he may still be at Tennessee

Negative. Show me where either UNC or Duke has been punished like Kentucky by the NCAA in basketball.

And, as always, you’re still missing the point. But that’s par for the course for you.

UNC admitted wrong doing before they later said the entire letter was a typo...

If the UNC scandal happened at Kentucky or Zion Williamson ended up at Kentucky the media would’ve wanted Calipari’s head.

Wasn't Pearl's only crime was that he had a cookout for the kids?

Seriously, he grilled some food for kids. And that makes him sleeze?

You gotta be kidding me.

Only hotels buy USA Today. It's shite.

Lol. Him taping the Simeon kid wasn’t a “run in” with the NCAA. It was a run in with the coaching fraternity who was pissed at him for spilling the beans.

Well, Cal has put two schools on probation already

Then when he gets to Uk, voila, no more trouble

I mean no, his biggest crime was he bold faced lied to the NCAA about it and told his assistants to lie to the NCAA about it (they didn't). That's pretty bad. He fvcked up, admitted it, apologized for it and paid the price. Not sure how what Pearl did 7 years ago makes him the rot of college athletics compared to, oh, I don't know, Pitino.

Using the recent assistant coaches is just proof that a point wanted to be made by the author and they were willing to craft the evidence to fit it.

Just one of his run-ins with the NCAA would have been enough to torpedo the career of pretty much any other coach.
That's just simply untrue as evidenced by about 100 other coaches still being employed.

He also paid dearly for it by being regulated to lower division jobs for years after the fact.
