FSU is a big name and Miami is a tourist destination. Also $.
Alabama had multiple 1st round draft picks play in the 2022 bowl game and they were just playing Kansas St.
It's a reflection of the culture at your school, and Ohio St's is apparently shitty.

Sounds like Ohio St has a shitty culture.

I don't remember Urban Meyer ever coaching at Alabama.

Alabama and Georgia put meaningless victory above player safety. Ohio State encourages players to protect their draft status.

Then most of Ohio St's games are meaningless since you have 1 national championship in the past 20 years and only played for like 1 other.
You might as well be Michigan.

Bryce, Will and several others chose to play K State in the Sugar Bowl for their teammates, and not opt-out like the pussies at Ohio State. Of course, being a pussy is expected at Ohio State, where the AD wanted to cancel an entire season because someone might catch a cold.

In the 2023 SEC CG? I do not know what you are talking about but I assure you UGA did not have anyone opt out of the SEC CG and no one took it as a meaningless game. In fact just the opposite was true....McConkey and Bowers were hobbled to the point they could barely walk and were still on the field competing. What happened to UGA in that game is exactly what happened to OSU in the Peach Bowl the year before....they were not as talented or as deep when the game was played as their opponent. It wasn't due to players opting out, it was due to injuries which happen to everyone and those who survive have a little luck and a lot of talent and depth.

Are you saying OSU is already crowned as the champion because Urban Meyers says OSU may have the most talented Roster ever? Just because he's never seen anything like it.

What is the cost to team cohesion? Every team must deal with this, but when your coach brings in another player from another school to take your starting position, paying that player a lot more than you, its prob not good for morale. Ohio St did this at multiple positions

Day finally relented to being a full-time CEO...... The problem is he has one of the best ever playcallers as OC-Chip Kelly, and Jim Knowles DC... plus James Laurinaitis (LB's), Brian Hartline (WR's) Larry Johnson (DL), Tim Walton (CB's), and Carlos Locklyn (RB's) aren't to shabby either.

Can you stop with the whole injury thing?. I think it has been well established on this forum, at least by fans of all teams that have a ball sack, that blaming injuries is invalid and stupid and not a real excuse. You and the Suckeye fans haven't got that through your craniums yet, because....well, because you are obviously all homos. So, stop with the whole Harrison injury whining and the Bama stuff, etc. Real fans with a spine have ceased with all that and its not wanted.
