Solid Post.

I have found myself in agreement with a shocking amount of your posts as of late.

Anyone who said that after the Petrino firing was either delusional, trolling, or way to damn optimistic. I knew we would drop several games, but I obviously never thought things will go down this far. There has been much more wrong this year besides not having Petrino, but I am sure most of it could be redirected to be his fault.

None of us think we're a better program than Bama. None of tus think we're a better progran than LSU. None of us think we are the best team in the SEC this year (okay, most of us don't).
We're just happy to get what was maybe the biggest regular season win in our history, and a little annoyed that LSU fans have spent the last five days piggybacking the frick out of it.

2) The Spread Works in the SEC. I think we can safely put to rest all of the defense talk. Defense wins championships, but Spread+Defense>Defense or Spread alone.
Your best point, IMHO.
Overall nice sail

Are you serious? Surely you have beat Texas when they were #1 or knocked them out of contention. Surely the final game in 1939 (or one of your made up championship years) counts more. This was a big win for sure, but if it's the biggest in your history then said history is even shittier than I thought.

Um, no. We know we are annoying dickheads. And knowing is half the battle:

We have beaten two top 10 teams. OU during RC's last year (so useless) and this win.
I personally think the KSU game in 1998 was bigger, but the Bama game is top three.

I really believe that Sumlin/KK have proven something this year with respect to y'alls offense and style. It has changed my tune on what I would like to see us doing. Of course we still have a long way to go on D, which is the most surprising thing about your team to me.

Miles is a damn fine coach IMO. There have been some odd decisions at times, but they are hardly the norm.

Not gonna lie, it's changed my tune, as well. I was cautiously optimistic to start the year (8-4 was my ceiling prediction), and my reasoning behind this was thinking the Sumlin/KK offensive system was more of a bridge between the Big12 style and the SEC style of offense. Basically, I assumed that A&M would adopt the spread because a.) Sumlin's most comfortable with it, and b.) we just didn't have the athletes/depth to run a traditional SEC ground and pound offense (we still don't, fwiw).
But what they've changed my tune on is the efficacy of said offense. Granted, JFF is a transcendent talent at QB, but the system is working and most pleasantly, the defense is MUCH more stout than I assumed coming into the season.
