2) The Spread Works in the SEC. I think we can safely put to rest all of the defense talk. Defense wins championships, but Spread+Defense>Defense or Spread alone.

LSU & Alabama say hello. Both have been at the top league for the last 5 years and it's not even a question.

The spread has proven to be great over short stretches and with very elite QB play but it has yet to produce consistent year in and year out results with mulitple QBs.

I have said as much in this thread. Celebrate all you want, just tell some of your fans to quit coming on here acting like the mid-90s cowboys now play in Kyle Field.

58-10. In case you forgot.

Your premise is BS to me. I look for overreacting Aggies on this board and I just don't see any. Aggies clearly aren't there yet: if Mettenberger had been only bad instead of terrible LSU likely would have won by 2 TD's or more. I can't say the same for Florida. Good defense, but I think A&M wins that one if played in the 2nd week. Or maybe not. Alabama, flip a coin. Great game and 'Bama deserves a lot of credit for not going into panic mode down 20-0. But the pigs? I can't envision a scenario where that's a competitive game. You guys sucked. Bad.

tFlaghip cannot be kept down for long. We made the best hire in the SEC if not all of CFB this year

You hired a one year Sun Belt coach. Talk about slim pickings.
