I bet no one in Auburn has signed memorabilia in their store fronts.

“I cut all the football coaches’ hair,” remarks Rodgers. “We usually talk about football around here, but not with them too much,” he adds. “I go bird hunting with Tommy Tuberville,” Rodgers says. “Yeah, we go hunting.” But times weren’t always so good, the men agreed. “From 1971 till about 1975, we had a bad time because long hair was in,” Rodgers recalls. “The Beatles came to town,” he joked. “It was rough.

I just want to say that Bama fans' "nothing to see here" responses we've caught so much crap for since last season don't fail to disappoint.

Have people figured out if the Menswear store owns the kiosk?

I'm calling for a thread name-change. And I'm going to agree that it should definitely be "Rammer Jammer, Yellow Banhammer." That was truly hilarious

Well, most people at this point concede it's a little different than shopping a son around to schools and admitting it.

Can anyone say definitively:
1. How much do suits from T-Town Menswear cost?
2. Does TR actually wear suits from T-Town Menswear?
3. If so, does he have the means to purchase said suits from T-Town Menswear?

Cannot believe all the boogs standing around sporting woodies thinking that their big brother is going to be put in time out over armed robbery. Oh,they didn't. You mean the boogs did the crime.
Bet you a six pack of PBR NOTHING comes of this. But good try.

It's different, but it's a violation of amateurism all the same.
How many kids do you think visited OSU on recruiting trips up until the tattoo parlor story broke and were made aware by host players that there are a lot of perks to being an athlete in Columbus?
I'm not throwing rocks at yall, because we aren't in the clear for a couple things, but its priceless seeing everyone scramble and point right back to the Cam thing as if they could no wrong themselves.

I like it when daddy comes to make sure everyone's in line.

I think it might be hard to prove. But assume that a certain player has several nice suits from the store and he and the store are unable to account for the full payment of said suits. Also assume that said player has signed memorabilia hanging in the store and has been photographed signing items inside the store. Also assume that said signing inside the store was promoted via fliers or facebook. That might be enough for a violation.
Now, those are all reasonable assumptions, but, right now, all they are are assumptions.
My official position is that this looks a little fishy, but ultimately nothing will likely come of it.

About what you would expect from a mall menswear store.

Probably. I'm sure lots of the players have suits from there.

Absent a forensic accounting by the Sports by Brooks firm, I couldn't speak to it.

Ok. We'll suspend all those players that have autographs in the window.

Like a brother from a different mother. I feel the exact same. I hate creepy old dudes who get this close to players, but will anything severe come of it? Probably not.

Frankly, I'm of the opinion that as long as small store owners are fans of schools in all university towns, this kind of murky area will exist. If the NCAA starts policing this with a lot of gusto, I think a lot of people will be sweating.

I agree 100%. But they do it everywhere. And he is a creepy old dude.

I just love how you bama fans have been instantly trying to compare it to the Cam situation and make it a non-issue, when nobody is saying that this is worse than Cam. It truly is just comical.
