While I'm surprised we got put above Georgia, I'm even more surprised both of us are behind ND.

Still top ten only moves 2 spots shows that people thought UF and LSU are both great teams.

No. Florida looks like a better team than Georgia. Y'all really have a good team this year, y'all just came up anlittle short against our offense which is very arguably the best in sec history. Florida impressed me last night I'm not gonna lie. Y'all have a good season ahead of y'all. I dont see uga beating Florida for sure.

Can somebody please tell me why UGA is ranked ahead of Auburn?

Every year, Notre Dame gets “benefit of the doubt” votes.

Every year, they get throttled.

Notre Dame lost on the road to the then number 3 team in the country. Georgia lost to a 2-3 team at home. Florida lost to the then number 5 team in the country.

The coaches got it right!

I vote behind ND in the AP poll. I fell we should be above them in both polls.

It'll play out but the polls show the inherent bias with folks

ND too high
FL easily best 1 loss
UGA can't lose a game like that to USC at home and still be in top 10. What a joke.

I figured we'd drop to 12th.

The "why is ND above UGA?" question doesn't make sense to me. Yes we beat them and we both have the same record. I get that. But they've looked pretty good in all their other games and their only loss (to us) was on the road in a close game. Our loss was one of hte worst we've had in a decade with zero justification for it. They deserve to be higher than us right now.

The thing is, the polls generally work themselves out. We have UF in 2 weeks which will shake things out a bit.
