Including the 2019 Final rankings.... This includes all current FBS programs.

1. Oklahoma- 1,100
2. Alabama- 1,080
3. Ohio State- 1,075
4. Michigan- 993
5. Notre Dame- 988
6. USC- 832
7. Texas- 790
8. Nebraska- 783
9. Penn State- 702 (up 1 spot)
10. Tennessee- 686 (down 1 spot)
11. LSU- 678
12. Georgia- 615
13. Auburn- 584
14. Florida State- 562
15. Florida- 538 (up 1 spot)
16. Miami- 530- (down 1 spot)
17. UCLA- 493
18. Michigan St.- 456
19. Clemson- 449 (up 1 spot)
20. Arkansas- 439 (down 1 spot)
21. Wisconsin- 378 (up 2 spots)
22. Washington- 376 (down 1 spot)
23. Texas A&M- 375 (down 1 spot)
24. Ole Miss- 347
25. Iowa- 331 (up 1 spot)

Rest of the SEC:

36. Missouri- 236 (down 1 spot)
56. Mississippi St.- 122
58. S. Carolina- 118
59. Kentucky- 110
84. Vanderbilt- 19

**Some Notes:

**Tennessee dropped from #9 to #10, passed by Penn State. They are barely holding on to All-Time Top 10 status which they've held for practically the entire history of the AP. It's likely they fall out next year.

**LSU stays at #11, but they are likely one year away from moving into that Top 10.... which have been the same 10 programs for over 40 years

**Florida passed Miami for #15. They are now within striking distance of their other in-state rival, Florida State... however its likely going to be at least two years before they pass the Seminoles.

**Clemson continues their furious rise up through the rankings, passing Arkansas for that #19 spot. They'll likely move up another spot next year.

**Texas A&M fell from #22 to #23.... passed by Wisconsin. I thought Jimbo was supposed to be taking the Aggies in the other direction?

**Ole Miss is barely clinging on to All-Time Top 25 status.... a status they've held since the 1940s. They are at #24 now, but Iowa is within striking distance of passing them.

**Oregon moved up to #30, passing Colorado. They've made some major moves up the ranks the past 15 years.

**App State became the 101st current FBS program to claim a Final AP Poll finish.

Kind of shocked at a couple of things:

Texas ahead of Nebraska (even if only by a shade)

Penn State higher than all of 10-13

The large gap between 5 & 6. I thought USC would be ahead of Michigan, honestly, all things considered. But I guess this is an "all-time" list going back to God knows when

This isn't an opinion. It's all-time points from AP Finishes since the inception of the AP Poll in 1936. A first place finish is worth 25 points, 2nd place finish is worth 24 points, etc.

If you don't like the order, then you don't like history. There's nothing I can do to change it.

but as noted, Alabama has been #1 in the AP poll more than any team, and then it's Ohio State. I would add that the SEC and Big 10 were much more competitive conferences than the old Big 8. That was Nebraska and OU and the also rans, and those also rans weren't as good as those in Big 10 and SEC.

Big six

The gap really is astounding.... and it keeps getting larger. The entire Big 6 minus Tennessee finished in the Final AP Top 14 this year. No other SEC teams finished in the Top 25.

Arkansas would have to finish #15 for 9 consecutive seasons with Florida simultaneously finishing unranked all of those seasons just to catch them in the all-time AP Poll.

With each passing year, the gap gets larger too.

Why is it worthless? The AP has been the standard for rankings in college football for 84 seasons.
