Isn't the field pretty small too? I remember them being a power hitting team at home because of that.

I'm honestly not sure.

I do know there is no outfield seating though and you can't bring coolers in either.

Coach Holbrook says Nolan Belcher will start Game 1 for the #Gamecocks, Jordan Montgomery Game 2, TBA after that.

Anyone else got definite info on their starter/rotations for their regionals?

I like it. I'm hoping we can out-talent St.Louis and I like Montgomery against Clemson (though of course I'll be rooting to play Liberty game #2)

Yea I don't mind it either, keep it the same as we have all year. Belcher/Montgomery are both about even & Monty has actually pitched better as of late.

Really doesnt matter to me who we start honestly. Start Fant, Astin or Stanek. I do not care. We just have to hit. We can win ANY game and beat ANY team with them on the mound. We just have to hit to help them out.

Stole an idea on the brackets from Astro over on TD & there's now a full clickable link of a list of the announcers, TV schedule, & game times (CST) on my 3rd post.

Looks like Arkansas is the only non host school to play the late game on day 1 of their regional. NCAA knows who's filling the seats or it's just another documented case of tPTB trying to shaft Arky. If we somehow lose the first game then we turn around and play early. KSU scurred and irrelevant in their own stadium.

For the gamblers in this thread, you gotta love Arky getting +200 to win Manhattan Regional. Stanek is a monster!

NC State has the weakest venue ever. Stadium only holds 3,000.

Incorrect. Look up UCLA

Still think this is getting really old really quick. Isn't this the 3rd year in a row the committee has paired us up with Clemson before Omaha and the 4th year in a row we'll have played them in the postseason?

Normally what happens with UF and Miami. We never avoid both FSU and Miami on the way to Omaha.

I haven't read through the thread yet but I am very grateful for your efforts on this tournament thread and I thank you for the efforts/ work you're doing to keep us informed.

The CWS/baseball tournament is my 2nd favorite college sporting event (football is king) and before I die I will go to Omaha for the finals. My hope is to be able to watch my 15 year old son play in it one day soon.

Good luck to all the SEC teams and hopefully Omaha will be packed with SEC teams.
