It isn't a missed call. It just isn't. I'm sorry you can't be rational

Okay?
Show some class? DVH was holding up runners yesterday. SMS players in turn act like pricks today and celebrate like they are going to Omaha.
But I guess shite programs do shitty things.

Complete game 1 hitter to keep the season alive on the road in one of the toughest ballparks to play against a team that scored 18 runs the day before. What else can you say or do.

It's not a missed call man. It's baseball

Dude, you got 1 hit all game and are arguing about something they basically always call. Time to step away.

Do I need to provide ANOTHER link that says it's technically not an out?
Subjectivity in application doesn't mean that it's an out. They call it that way all the time? Okay. Still not technically an out according to the rules. I don't know how much more clear one has to be.

It isn't a missed call. It just isn't. It is an integral part of baseball when turning a double play. It is the same as holding in football. I guess you assume the refs miss holding every single play right?

Really good comparison actually
Holding happens every play in football, but only the blatant obvious ones will be called (And sometimes only if it affects where the play is going).
As long as you get very close to the bag on a DP they will always call the lead runner out at 2nd.

Yes it is. If it isn't, send me a link to any rule book that says it's not a requirement to touch a base/baserunner to get the lead out.
It's a bit like saying a pitch that was 12 inches outside of the zone is a strike because the umpire called it a strike. Yeah, of course. But it's not in the strike zone. Umpire's can be wrong. This one was. I realize it happens (never said it didn't), but it is not technically an out. You people are arguing with the rules in favor of human subjectivity.

That's actually a perfect analogy for this situation.

I'm arguing about the rules of baseball. Period. I've given MS credit. This devolved into people making shite up.

My link is 150 years of baseball.

This is a poor comparison, a strike zone is subjective to the umpire

This is a crazy small strike zone the ump is giving Puk.
Doesn't help that we have two errors early, but still

We only look slightly shittier than the fricking ump. Lord a mighty he is blind!

Yes, they were ridiculous. But it's SMS, one of the worst athletic departments in college sports, what do you expect? They been awful in baseball for 10 years and basically don't have a football or basketball program anymore.
If anything passing off Arkansas is a very very bad move by them. Hell even former Arkansas players currently in the pros are pissed.

Serious question are you a woman? I mean no offense. But when I watch football, women scream holding on every play. Then I try to explain, yes, there is holding on every play, but in football it is now allowed as long as it isn't blatant. And they can't understand. This is the exact same thing. The neighborhood double play is as engrained in baseball as cracker jacks
