Aggie third baseman couldn't have fricked up more on that last play. Muffs the grounder and then makes a terrible throw to the plate.

The team massively overachieved this year.
I'm expecting a substantial letdown in 2016.

You have to consider the source!
We'll lose Allemand and most likely a few pitchers. But a lot of good guys coming back.

Simple history.
1993 team made the CWS
1994 team missed the postseason
1999 team made the CWS
2000 team missed the postseason
2011 team made the CWS
2012 team failed to reach a regional final in College Station (with Michael Wacha pitching no less)
History dictates that any A&M team, regardless of sport, who overachieves, falls apart under the weight of its own expectations the following season.

Damn, I fell asleep in the 11th before it was over. ... Sorry Ags, I was really pulling for y'all. Did a great job coming back to tie it & hanging in, just couldn't get the bats to light up. It happens, even to good teams. Congrats on a great season & better luck next year.
