No team has surpassed the Rantards expectations like Arkansas has the past few seasons. People just can't wait for Arkansas to return to The Nutt decade.

Those of you hoping for a meltdown and 7-5 season from Arkansas are going to be disappointed. A&M, AU, and USC still aren't in Arky's league, and LSU/Bama are still going to have to bring their A game to Fayetteville if they want a W.

Dismiss this opininion, though, I know it gets in the way of your giddiness over your ignorant predictions.

I'm not hoping for anything. If you read my post, I said:

1.) This is most likely a good thing for Arkansas because they aren't jumping into a mediocre hire.
2.) I had yall originally going 9-3 (you aren't in LSU or Alabama's league and I assumed you'd drop one of the 4 road games.) shite, you barely beat A&M last year. Yall are never a "given" to win anything, especially on the road.

It's a two horse race. It's LSU. It's Alabama. Move along.

Arky will be a threat as long as Tyler Wilson is in the game.

the same Tyler Wilson that could only complete 53% of his passes vs. LSU for 1TD and 1INT? The one who took 5 sacks vs. LSU? Yeah, he's all they need to compete fricking idiot.

Yall were not beating LSU or Alabama even with Petrino.

Alabama, sure. against LSU, Petrino was 2-2 with one of those losses in OT.

Road games to South Carolina, Auburn, Texas A&M (Dallas I'd assume), and Mississippi State are all going to be difficult.

come on, man. last year's wins over those teams: +16, +24, +4, +27.

sure teams change and it might be closer than last year, but i don't see why you'd say these are suddenly all toss-up games instead of giving Arkansas at least an advantage.

I'm sure she's a big girl. She can handle her own business. Good to see the SECr knights out in full force together for Maiden Raiseherback though.

They are grouped into back to back games (all 4). It's tough going two weeks in a row on the road, especially with those teams. You don't have a head coach. It's not that difficult of a concept to understand. All of those teams are likely to be better this season too.

Remember what happened last time LSU came to Arkansas when we had a decent o-line, running game, and 2nd year starter at QB (which we didnt have last season @ lsu)?

DC knows her shite about football. You seem to think she doesn't know anything strictly bc she's a female. You sound like a tool

I'm sure she knows tons about football. Like how to change the channels to other games and make delicious and tasty treats for watching the games.

Just calling a tool... a tool.

If that is trolling the board for chicks. Then this site = adultfriendfinder.

Also, you forgot to add me in the picture where you grouped all the white knights.

except for the fact the entire staff is still together, including an OC who worked with Petrino for a decade. the team seems to be doing well in practice. a big drop-off is possible but i wouldn't really expect it. last year we had an extremely young OL and a first year starter at QB. i honestly expect some improvement.

one has a completely new staff and lost their star QB, one has basically a new staff except at HC and will have a first year starter at QB.

We cant all know as much as football about you, right?

LSU has more playmakers and the better game planner. LSU By 10.

Landon Collins to LSU.

Just cant see AJ McCarron making the plays in that atmosphere to win the BCS.

LSU will put up 23 points in the game. Im just not feeling Alabama's D in that game.

But, to get this thread back on topic.

I think it'll be interesting to see how Arkansas plays. They should be better on defense and offense this year, even losing all of the WRs.

If the interim can hold it together, I can see them winning 10 games again this year. There is definitely enough leadership on the offensive side of the ball to not miss a beat. Not sure about defensively though.

Arkansas is doing this the right way. They can make a big splash in December.

This.

I think there would have been a huge backlash if they had pulled McGee away from UAB while he's under contract.
