It always seems to me that systematic cheating, like everyone suspects at Ole Miss and other programs, is a complete house of cards. It requires everyone to keep their mouths shut in order to work, so it's only as strong as the weakest link- the person with the most to lose or the most pissed off. But there's that old saying about 3 people being able to keep a secret only if 2 of them are dead. So, I'm wondering who talked? A kid who went somewhere else? A parent who didn't get the benefits they were promised for their baby boy's signature? Someone pissed that someone else got more than them or their family in the deal?

99% of the time it is announced when the person leaves.
Keep holding on to that 1% I guess.

You resign before you have a new job lined up?
Come on guyz. You know other schools were beating down the door to hire the on campus recruiting coordinator from a school that just received a NOA from the NCAA

Who else did we lose that was directly tied to ole miss recruiting?
Somebody else said it, but "Are you really this dumb?"
Dude! Honest question. How old are you?

I mean I will give you some credit for being the only Ole Miss guy in here trying to defend your school.

I'm not going to argue with a hired PR firm anymore.
I'll just post pictures of Milton Freeze instead.

A lot of people quit jobs at their alma mater, after signing a top 5 class, after their school receives an NOA, when they're 30 years old, without a better or any job lined up. It's a totally logical and normal career move guys.

We are so far ahead of you on this.
TNetwork is always 3 steps in front.

I assume by "one person" you mean Brandon Wenzel, your asst director of recruiting. That would be correct that YOU (Ole Miss) only lost one person. However, Texas let Chris Vaughn go yesterday because according to Charlie Strong:
quote:
"circumstances have put us in a position that we are going to part ways"
I'm sure you'll admit the timing of these two things to be odd based on
A) how close they are to one another,
B) how close they are to the NOA, and
C) how close the announcement of each is to a "holiday" weekend (late on a Friday is the best time to drop news you don't want covered).

How are you guys so sure that his "chosen career" was to be in college football recruiting?
If you're an on campus recruiting coordinator....there really isn't much to do right now. How do you know that he doesn't want to travel for a bit before starting his next job?
Maybe his next job is called "not any of our business coordinator"?

Will the show cause count against that one?

Maybe strong parted ways with Vaughn because he was a shite db coach?
We can certainly vouche for that.

That sounds like how nutt described every offensive coordinator that he threw under the bus.
