Analogous to NFL decline. It makes zero sense for any business to become political potentially alienating half of your customers.

it is ridiculous to suggest UA is failing because of Plank's comments about Trump. And I am a Democrat

Serves you right for giving up on your own Russell Athletic.

Call me old school but I'd love it if we went back to Russell.

Gotta disagree. My UA trainers are by far the best I've ever worn, and they weren't expensive. I like UA shoes because they offer great lateral support. Nike, etc. are too loose on the sides.

Come on... We're trying to influence big fast kids to come to school and play ball for us. Russell Athletic is about as sexy is Rosie O'Donnell in that way. Ask Georgia Tech how Russell worked out for them.

Tech couldn't recruit if they had Phil Knight's personal stash.

Their shoes work best for me.

Nike simply don't last
Adidas aren't that comfortable for me.
UA does both.

For trainers I like Asics. Under Armor has fantastic base layer stuff.

Their shoes are very hit or miss. Quality and comfort wise. I like Adidas the best.

Yeah, old white Trump supporters probably bought a lot of UA gear before they found their new thing to protest.

My UA shoes we were given by our HS AD are really the most comfortable pair of tennis shoes I've had in awhile. I like some of their heat/dry fit gear too. That's unfortunate. I like them better than Adidas.

The stuff they make is fine. I've got a couple of long sleeve polos that I like a lot. I'm usually a Nike guy though. All three are pretty much on par though.

It's overpriced of course, but they are selling branding as much as anything. No one wants to look poor wearing Russell or Champion.
