UNC and UVA will join SEC

Created this burner to protect myself and sources. BIG will get FSU and some combo of ND/Miami/Clemson while SEC gets UNC and UVA.
Every SEC school wants UNC. So does the BIG. But UNC is leaning SEC.
UVA will join SEC because BIG/Fox don't want them. Only UK, Vandy and Mizzou (and UNC but they don't count) want UVA. Problem is Sankey/Disney are woke as hell and get what they want. Rest of SEC wants Clemson or VT. Sankey doesn't because they're not AAU. He and Disney are too stupid to realize the future of college sports is about football and cultural best fit, not which school has the most SJW students.
BIG/Fox absolutely won this realignment and will laugh its way to the bank while Sankey/Disney will continue to go woke, go broke.

Neither FSU nor Clemson is AAU. The B1G has been adamant that it won't expand to any non-AAU schools.

For years UVA and VT were a package. Couldn't get one without taking both.

Several universities were invited to the AAU last year. Will more Southern schools be invited within the next several years? VT and Georgia are definitely good enough, as are several other schools. Hell, Arizona State and UC-Riverside are a part of it now.

One has to question how the hell Oregon and Brandeis are still members. Doesn't seem to be nearly as elite as it once was.
