Unbiased Nightly: Which teams will expose A&M's defense in 2014?

I think A&M's defense is bad and poorly coached. A&M homers will blame it on the youth but if you actually watch the A&M games, especially the Chicken Bowl vs. Duke, it was apparent the problem was a lack of fundamentals and poor coaching. Since the same staff is back for more I was wondering which teams will be able to have their way with the A&M D in 2014 and prevent them from taking a step forward under Sumlin after a disappointing 2013.
South Carolina - Mike Davis seems to be the kind of back that will tear apart the A&M defensive front that had the same level of resistance of a wet piece of toilet paper
Auburn - A&M had a hard time stopping them last year in College Station, will be worse in Auburn in 2014. Nick Marshall is probably salivating at this defense.
Alabama - McCarron is gone but Alabama's offense is what it is, nothing flashy but gets the job done. Will not take any steps back, and this offense scored 49 on A&M.
Missouri - While they didn't do that well against the A&M defense at home, they still return enough weapons to really make that A&M defense pay.
Mississippi State - The Grinders found their way at the end of the year and returns a lot from the group that easily put points on the board at Kyle Field.
Ole Miss - The only thing that has gotten in the way between Ole Miss and two wins over A&M the past 2 years has been terrible end of game play calling from Freeze. If he can fix this, I like Ole Miss's chances to score a lot of points against A&M this year at Kyle.
LSU - They are losing too many weapons on offense and will have to wait and see what happens. They did score 34 in Baton Rogue but mailed it in when the game was in the bag, could have been a lot worse. But those playmakers are all gone so A&M might have a chance.
Arkansas - I remember them moving the ball well on A&M last year in a loss in Fayetteville. That was with derpy QB play. With another year under Bert's system maybe the Hogs can do a repeat performance of gashing the A&M D.

Is Rice on the schedule?
Their D can't stick like white on Rice.

It's A&M, I am sure their 4 non conference opponents are all garbage like last year.

Not trying to defend their scheduling, but Rice and SMU both made bowl games [edit: in 2012 they both made bowls, 2013 only Rice made a bowl game].

short and simple, everybody exposed our D last year. If you went to the bar and picked up 10 other guys to play Offense, yall would get 300+ offense and score 30+. Just run the wheel route. With that said i expect our defense to take a huge step forward this year. I think we finally have some pieces in place to start building a quality defense. Im not saying we are gonna rank up there with Bama and Lsu(still hate you guys) but probably in the middle of the pack. I figure we will probably finish with about the same record we did this year.

In their defense, Rice won 10 games last year.

I don't see A&M being worth a flip next year.
They did not win a single SEC game of note. They went 4-4 in conference play winning over the 4 weakest teams on their schedule.
That was WITH three awesome offensive players single handidly carrying the team, all of whom are gone.
Fully expect another 4-4 type outing from A&M next year in conferene play. As good as 5-3 maybe, or as bad as 3-5.

I'm not sold on the fact that our defensive failures are Snyder's fault. He did "reasonably" well in 2012, but that was with Nealy, Porter, and Moore. If a few guys (Claiborne/Garrett) step up, then we could be better than expected. We won't lead the SEC in defense, but if our QB is even halfway competent, we should at least be competitive. We're solid at OL, RB, and WR. Hill/Allen are the wildcards on offense. I recall Johnny not even being considered in pre-season rankings because we didn't even know who would start in 2012 and we see how that turned out. I thoroughly trust in Sumlin to start a very good QB and modify the offense to his strengths. While the D is still in question (rightfully), I think that they'll be improved this year. By how much remains to be seen.
