Word on the street is OU may need to be looking for a different non con in 23. Kirby doesn’t want that Venables smoke. UGA backed out on OU in 2016 as well I think.

I can’t believe I’m gonna be the one to tell you this, but nobody is afraid of Brent venables.

OU has the best staff top to bottom in the country now.

Is the 12 team playoff accelerating OU and Utx to the SEC?

We’ve never lost a game to Oklahoma so why would we care

Who cares, we are all about to be in the same conference.

Yes he does. So does Georgia and Texas.

As someone said prior….they don’t want that Coach Venables smoke. They won’t be able to dodge OU for long though.

Likely to get paid to play an even bigger opponent.

I think it is because the first game was next year, and the second game was many years later, after Oklahoma was a conference member. When our schools made that agreement neither knew that this would be the case.

If rumors are true about the SEC going to a 9 game schedule, that significantly fricks up the ability to schedule quality non-con games and one of the reasons I'm against it.

I makes zero since to play a road game at Oklahoma in 23 with a return game not until 2030 when OU is joining the SEC in 24/25. We’d never get the return game.
We’re still a home game short to Auburn

An OOC series of 2023 and 2031 doesn’t work if y’all are desperately joining the sec in 2025. We should just make it neutral site in Dallas.

Look at how often they play Alabama in the regular season, or LSU/TAMU. They can put it off almost indefinitely

Maybe it is your team will be hurting UGA (SoS)?
