You must be trolling. No rational person would say what you are saying while ignoring what has been said about others regarding the schedule.

Nope, just reading a bunch of whiners making excuses for not playing a game next year. Next year is next year. Both schools have it set and it also matters for strength of schedule in the big scheme of things for mext season. No way OU would find a top tier team on short notice. Its as bad as 8&4Feit. Afraid to play us. Whiners

So come on down to athens if you are okay with a one game, not neutral OOC game, but I bet Ou Is scared

Ou fans are among the worst when it comes to homerism. They have always swore they’re the best at everything and everyone else sucks. Never experienced it with any other fan base like I have with them

What does that have to do with 2023 and GA snaking out? Nothing. Fact is GA is too chicken to play OU next year with our new staff and looking for slimey reasons to back out.

GA is pulling an Aggie. Both teams scared to play their schedule. Not a good look for SEC who always brags. 2 schools backing out of games looks weak nationally.

OK will be in the SEC next season, so this is irrelevant

I'm sure since you want the game, UGA would be happy to keep it and change the location to athens. If you're not okay with that... why aren't you okay with UGA not wanting to play a game in Norman with no return?

Are you a retard? You're sounding like one.

UGA isn't giving you a free home game. If you want to play then come to Athens for the game. UGA is cool with that.

UGAs schedule was a home and home.

You are an idiot to think UGA is UTEP or Kent State and giving a OU a home visit without a return trip.

If that is your expectation of the SEC (rollover for you), I cant wait to see your reaction when we are smashing you on Saturdays.

I read from OU AD that contractullly notice has to be given 18 months prior to the move so my guess is 2024. Too many logistics for 16 teams to change without 18 months planning. Its not just football that changes.

Everything. It’s an OOC home AND home.

Scheduling OOC opponents is generally meant to be beneficial to those doing the scheduling. We schedule "cupcakes" because it benefits both schools. The one eating the cupcake is expected to have a glorified scrimmage to work on things, get playing time/experience for 2nd and 3rd stringers, and give some rest to the starters after getting a few practice reps. The cupcake gets a lot of money and the players get TV time as well as experience playing against really good opponents. This works for both parties, which is why they happen.

The OOC scheduling for good teams is meant to do the same thing; there needs to be benefits to both teams. When the schedule was made with Oklahoma (2019), Texas and Oklahoma were not yet coming to the SEC. Now that both are coming to the SEC, and potentially sooner than expected, the schedule will be changing. What was mutually beneficial in 2019 may not be so in 2023. Losing a home game against Oklahoma is a big deal when it removes a condition of the original agreement.

You see it as UGA ducking out and playing scared because that is how you want to rationalize a business transaction in your head. You apparently don't see or don't care about the implications of Oklahoma joining the SEC and its effect on scheduling but just want to emote like an irrational teenager about the change.

Duh, the return will be when we are in conf. How many GA posters are this naive? The schedule is the schedule. Once we enter conf then we have a new schedule just like 15 other teams. GA is snaking out prior to any conf moves. Aggie like.

Imagine this reversed OMG this place would overload on how OU is canceling a game.

These OOC top tier games are a big deal. We are not in SEC yet. Game is set and fans looking forward to it. If GA cancels AGGIE like then OU has to find a popcorn state because all big teams are locked in games years ahead. You cannot cancel this game and also play the victim card as a lot here are trying to do.

Play the game or forever be lumped in with 8&4Feit.

By the way, Bama did not cancel their game with Tx this week. But if Tx cancels their Bama road game in 2023 then they will be AGGIE like too.

Everything resets once we are in Conf. Until then play your games don’t chicken out.

Giving a team a home game OOC without getting one in return normally requires you to pay the other team. Since OU's return game will NOT be OOC, it effectively makes the contract useless from a UGA perspective.

Again, if you want to play, UGA would be more than happy to host the game with not return trip.

But OU wouldn't want to do that for the same reasons UGA doesn't want to go to Norman without a return trip.

You're just acting like a retard who is too simple minded to understand basic concepts.

Bama and Texas didn't cancel because both games happen before Texas joins the conference. Again... not hard for people with any brain cells to understand.

Everything does not reset when you are in conference. UGA will have to sign another OOC game to replace you not playing in 2031.

Don't worry about us though. We'll replace those Texas and OU OOC games with games against teams like ND, OSU or Clemson (some of the other teams on UGA's OOC in the past and upcoming years). You can cry about not getting a free home contest all you want. You're just being dumb.

I think it’s the other way around. After your former coach saw such a better opportunity to win at SC and how pitiful everything about your program is, ya’ll are now trying to squirm out of an arse whooping.
