It’s not saying “UCF is an elite football team” in a broad sense. It’s saying that, through Week 2, UCF landed in the chart’s upper-right area because of the combination of its net points per drive and schedule-strength metric.
With only two games of data, that can produce some pretty misleading placements. A team can look “elite” statistically for a moment because of opponent quality, game script, turnovers, garbage time, or just a tiny sample.
It will start to mesh out in a few more weeks

Right there with Miami, Indiana, and Florida (dammit).
I wonder what these stats look like adjusted for 1st team reps only. Idk about Miami & Indiana but our 3rd & 4th stringers are probably more of our sample size than the 1st string at this point.

What happened to Oregon? Watching some of that game turnovers was the only thing keeping Oregon from not getting beat worse.

We have played no one but I can assure to the dumb arse who dreamed this up that UGA isn't a paper tiger....

i’d like to see that for our team too. mostly just curious.
Is this Net Points per Drive stat new-ish? Been seeing it a lot more. is it directly correlated with W-L record ?
