I think you really fail to appreciate how much corporations like Coca Cola and delta are already supporting schools like UGA.

In the long run Georgia will be fine. This season was hard for them because of mediocre skill talent and then a qb injury.

They’ll be back.

Having said that, no one will dominate the sport like Alabama and Georgia have the past 15 years. That kind of stuff is over

Bama lost to Utah and OU even in its glory days under Saban.

Who is to say if it's a decline or not

This makes me concerned. Bama fans are the recent experts in program decline

True, but not concerning Georgia. Bama stills owns UGA.

No cherry picking for you though - you got nothing to pick unless we go back to 1998. LOL

This year surprised me in some ways, but it looks like the result is going to be as expected. I thought that middle of the pack teams would all essentially become Vanderbilts with no chance to beat the teams at the top, and the teams with the big $$$ would dominate.

Then, USC, Indiana, Ole Miss, SMU and others came out and kicked some arse. Beat some good teams.

But in the end it is going to be one of the big $$$ schools that wins it all, and I expect it will be that way every year.

They have to fix their offense. Even last year big plays by Ladd and Bowers had to bail out an otherwise pedestrian offense at times.

Their defense was really good this year, but even it has slipped a bit from what it was and they probably lose 6 of their front 7 and both starting safeties to graduation and the NFL, and it was obvious the depth behind them wasn't as good as usual for the most part.

Buy your natties. No shame in it, since that’s now the game.

It's always been the game.

But now the AAU schools don't lose their accreditation if they participate.

And the AAU schools have the money.

Don't worry, I'm fully aware the SEC has no idea what an AAU school is, but just giving you the info anyway.
