Off the top of my head we've played at Colorado, Arizona State, Oklahoma State, Clemson, ND. We have series scheduled with Ohio State, UCLA, and FSU
And also had a home and home scheduled with Ohio State (cancelled by them) and a home and home with OU cancelled by the conference and yes,it doesn't help OOC scheduling when we're more or less obligated to go home and home with GT annually.

Stop putting Gt on a pedestal like they’re a power 5 team. They haven’t been relevant in 10 years. UGA plays no one pawl

Hard to deny that they are a p5 program. What did you grad from?

That hour and a half bus ride doesn’t really constitute traveling.

UGA and Fla are using the excuse that they already play at Ga Tech and at FSU every other year
That's why they don't want to give up more home games
Plus UGA has to play in Jacksonville every year
Playing in Atlanta every other November and Jacksonville every October is a real thing as far as scheduling goes. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Tech game go away most seasons and the cocktail party going home and home in the not too distant future...

UGA has played a OOC slate that is equal to that of any program but in Georgia's defense most of y'all are playing 12 or 13 games a year while UGA is playing 15...and 3 of those 15 are against highly ranked opponents and 2 of those 15 are againt top 4 teams.

P5 is P5 OOC
Hell... dawg fans would rather play Clemson than South Carolina or Tennessee.
All I see are a bunch of melts in this thread.

What??
UGA has played more P5 OOC games than anyone else in the conference since 2016 in the regular season. It’s not even close. Not to mention the SEC cancelling the OU series and the 2020 game with Virginia. Series with Clemson, Louisville, FSU, and UCLA all scheduled to be played between now and 2029.

The point being to break out of just being a regional brand. Travel a bit, see the country. Take an actual road trip to somewhere new. Stop backing out of the return games with the neutral sight Atlanta BS. Try some legit home and home series that are more than a 2 hour bus ride.

Lol
Oklahoma St?
Arizona St?
Colorado?
Notre Dame?
We had home and homes with Oklahoma and Texas that the conference just squashed.
We travel. And we do it with 2 or 3 P5s on our schedule.
If you want to dick measure UGA vs Tennessee, go for it.
And by the way... we love visiting Indianapolis, Los Angeles, Miami, and the Rose Bowl in January too.
My only wish list is Madison Wisconsin. Somehow, LSU screwed that one up and put it at 2 neutral sites.

4 whole OOC games? ND was 2017, Colorado was 2010, OKST was 2009, ASU was 2008.
It looks like y’all tried it and decided to wasn’t for UGA and abandoned the concept. But kudos for trying it for a couple years in the programs century long long existence I guess. I guess y’all prefer being a regional team, probably saves money for the school and allows your fans to visit their cousins more.

Do what?
Once again,a home and home scheduled with Ohio State was cancelled by them and the OU home and home was cancelled by the conference.
What exactly is UT's excuse for scheduling a grand total of one OOC P5 per season the last 5 years?

Exactly
@pitt
Pitt at home
BYU at home
WVU in Charlotte
GT at Georgia Dome
VT in Bristol
Vols are so brave..traveling the nation and all..

I wonder why UTK is afraid to play 2 P5 OOC.

The California travel ban halted the west coast swing. But let’s go back a bit and see where the Vols have traveled.
2003 @miami
2005 @notre dame
2007 @cal
2008 @ucla
2013 @oregon
2022@pitt
Plus any neutral sight games not played in Tennessee. The Vols have a tradition of playing outside of Tennessee and playing a variety of teams. UGA likes to kiss their smarter cousins attending Tech and their stupid cousin in Clemson and that’s it. Are plane tickets too expensive for the team? Or is someone in the AD afraid of flying?
