UGA obviously should win this game going away.

Have by far the best OL and a top 4 most talented roster in all of CFB.

Kirby and Coley definitely are much better than Mullen and Grantham

Should be a good one. It'll be nice to watch two quality teams going at it versus whatever the frick our game is on Saturday.

Interesting that the pros expect UGA to win but UF fans are expecting a blowout win.

Obviously predicting UF by 7-11 points is considered a “blowout” to some people on this board

Lol, Georgia is one dimensional. Florida should win this with ease.

Not a blowout, but that’s a 12.5-16.5 point differential from the Vegas line. That’s aggressive

If Coley calls the same type of game, I don’t see why that’s far fetched.

UF has also faced tougher competition to this point than UGA.

UGAs road games have been at Nashville and in Knoxville.

UGA has the strength in their OL and UF has been terrible the last two weeks against LSU and South Carolina.

If UGA can run it I see a very close game, if they can’t, I see UF winning comfortably.

It’s not like Vegas is unaware of how and who each team has played. They pretty clearly disagree.

FWIW, I expect a battle.

Vegas knows UGA has the more talented roster.

That’s basically it. UGA has what the 3rd most talented roster in American and UF has the 15th?

Of course Vegas would favor a 6-1 UGA vs a 7-1 UF.

Florida has looked better than Georgia in my opinion. Should be a great game though

You don’t think their analysis goes a little deeper than that?

UF +5.5 will probably be the squarest bet in Vegas next week. Sometimes the square vets win, though.

SOS:

UF - 6th
UGA - 30th

SOR:

UF - 5th
UGA - 16th

SP+ Overall:

UF - 13th
UGA - 6th

SP+ Offense:

UF - 19th
UGA - 11th

SP+ Defense:

UF - 17th
UGA - 4th

SP+ Special Teams:

UF - 10th
UGA - 4th

So Vegas knows that UGA has by far the more talented roster, despite UF having comparable rankings statistically to UGA while having played tougher SOS.

So yeah, I'd say UGA is favored due to the recruiting and talent on their roster

That's f'ng ridiculous by the way. Especially considering how we're playing the last 3 games.

This is closest to what Vegas is looking at when setting the initial line. All these stats are opponent adjusted.

Basically, the public's impression of UGA is a lot different than what the advanced metrics say.
