Josh Lee has resigned as the Georgia director of football operations amid allegations of sexual harassment, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. He has held that position with the Bulldogs since 2014.
In a statement to the AJC, Georgia said that Lee resigned to “pursue other opportunities” and declined to comment further. In response to an open records request by the newspaper, the university cited state policy [OCGA 50-18-72 (a)(8)] that keeps “material obtained in investigations related to suspension, firing or investigation of complaints” exempt from open records review until 10 days after the matter has been concluded.
Lee allegedly sent inappropriate text messages to at least one of the people he directly reported to, the AJC reports. Upon learning of the alleged misconduct, athletic director Josh Brooks said he immediately opened the matter up to investigation.
However, as recently as last week, Lee accompanied UGA personnel on scouting trips to the College Football Playoff sites.

Some people call it sexual harrassment, I just call it a guy trying to get laid.

There is so much truth in that comment. Sexual harassment is a convenient weapon used for anything to get even because the woke bunch is out of control. Some years back a friend went thru hell at his bank for complimenting how nice a dress looked on an employee , I kid you not. They tried to force him into ex number of hours of some gender sensitivity training so he quit. That same girl who made the accusation did it again at another bank but her friends ratted her out.

Why does everyone jump to sexual harassment
He could just as easily have been drunk and or pissed and told his boss to frick off, which is still an "inappropriate" text
Nah, forget it, he seems soft. It's harassment. And, when are people going to figure out that texts and emails and social media exchanges always come back to bite you.

Since you didn't link it, I don't know where you got the bulk of your post (or if you wrote it), but this isn't what the AJC said at all. Here's their statement:
quote:
Lee is alleged to have sent inappropriate text messages to at least one of his direct reports over a period of time, according to several individuals with knowledge of the investigation.
The phrase "one of his direct reports" and "one of the people he directly reported to" don't necessarily mean the same thing. When I worked in state government, the first phrase (which is what the AJC used) would mean someone who reported to me.
That makes even more sense in this situation for several reasons. First, if he sent them to one of his superiors why in the world would that person need to involve the EEO office? If he pissed off the boss, she doesn't need an outside party to address the situation because her position can't be threatened by him. Second, he's late 30s/early 40s and was the football operations director. On the UGA staff directory, the other two people with 'football operations' as part of their title are both attractive females that look to be in their mid to late 20s. It's a virtual certainty he was trying to bang a subordinate instead of the boss.
