I would move the Georgia vs Florida game to a campus game...it would benefit both schools

Your opinion on this matter is both wrong and stupid

While I agree that more home and homes, not less, is the way to go....how many Georgia fans live in Athens v Atlanta? I'd wager those games are probably actually more convenient for more people in reality. That being said, again, I agree...who cares...the games should be played on your home field.

Edit: Meaning the OOCs. WLOCP in Jax is just a thing. Leave that be.

What makes playing Jacksonville so appealing? It favors Florida. They’re 80 miles away.
Jax is no great shakes as a host city.
No one outside of old UF-UGa fans care about the event formerly known as WGOCP.

I don’t get it.

Get used to it. If the SEC goes to 9 conference games, 1 "neutral" site game should be the norm.

In Atlanta
2020 — Sept. 7 Virginia

2022 — Sept. 3 Oregon

2024 — Aug. 31 Clemson

So 3 years out of 5 they have a non-conference game at the "neutral" Mercedes Benz stadium and are complaining? Oh boo hoo.

I realize that UGA pulls a lot of recruits from Florida so it is a great recruiting tool, but I am glad LSU doesn’t do that! I would hate for LSU to give up a great matchup like that at home every other year!

That's not what I'm talking about.

There is an inherent advantage/disadvantage in a 9 game conference schedule with 4/5 split on home and away games. If folks complain about how the SEC front office manipulates the schedule now to the advantage of certain schools just wait til we go to 9 conference games.

The only fair solution is to have the 9th conference game at a neutral site.

Cause it doesn’t involve your school and you’ve never been.

Those who get tickets every year love it and don’t want it moved.

The ones who want it moved is because they don’t qualify for the tickets or have to buy after market to go.

It is as neutral as you can get.

One of the largest UGA alumni associations is in Jacksonville
The schools make more money than ACC each than they can every other year.. 3M more.. and it’s going to 4.

It’s a 90 min bus ride for UF
It’s a 90 min charter out of Athens, by the way paid for by Jax.
The stadium is split down the middle
Both teams stay in local hotels and ride busses to the game.

It is not a home field advantage and anyone who says so , has never gone.

Plus it brings a ton of money to the Georgia Coast, which really needs it.

I can promise you all the rhetoric about recruiting and home field and any other excuse ; is pure crap.

It is all about access to tickets.. they only care about what they get to do; not what’s best for the program... And I can promise you the large donors out of south ga are not the ones to piss off!

It would be a shame if they did, that is a great tradition and a lot of Georgia fans plan their vacation around that game.

This is a game you don't understand unless you've been. It's not just another neutral site game, it's much bigger than that. Would be disappointing to see this end.

The game should alternate where it is hosted.
One year in Jacksonville.
The next in Atlanta, Savannah, or St. Simons.
Then repeat this rotation forever.
