Many complain about no divisions and the portal and such but it’s been the most entertaining year we’ve had in many years.

Not so fast, my friend.
Ohio St/Oregon loser, Penn State, and Notre Dame are pretty much locks for a first round home game. If ND loses @USC, it opens another spot. VOLS may get the last home spot, but I also wouldn’t be surprised to see the Texas/Georgia loser (barring anything unforeseen before then from GT/A&M) get the 8th spot and VOLS the 9, instead. Georgia would have 3 Ls but beat Tennessee, and Texas has the bigger name/brand/money.

If you get Texas and lose....do you get left out of the playoffs with three losses? Should Bama and Ole Miss finish with three losses and both having beaten UGA.....

A team should not be penalized for making their conference championship game and losing it, either knocking them out or forcing them to play an extra game. Should be changed to just awarding a championship based on the season. Replace the championship games by removing the bye in the playoffs. And letting the top six have the first game at home.

UGA by virtue of the toughest schedule in CFB would be the only potential 3 loss team that would have a claim.
