Kevin Smith had another rough outing, gave up 7 runs. Hard to tell after 1 game but he seems to still have issues 2nd and 3rd time through a lineup. Maybe it gets resolved or maybe Tony Locey or Justin Glover end up in the weekend rotation. Emerson Hancock is supposed to be a stud pitcher and he takes the mound today for the first time. Chase Adkins has been really solid since transferring in last year and will take Sundays. Can't do much in a series, though, if you're always losing Friday and playing a game behind.

Thanks, I’d like to see Webb get some good ABs without all the K’s. Both are good kids from good homes.

Impressive outing for the Hawgs today for sure... I do find it funny that of course the team who would take the lead for most runs in a single game so far would be Arkansas after this comment from a fellow Hawg: quote:

Up 22-1 after 4 innings and they empty the bench who goes on to score 10 runs in the 6-7-8 innings.
Played sixteen position players and 9 runs came in the first two innings basically all off the homer. Weird game.
