There is very little separating these two programs, but the perception of both is very different.

Been saying this for years, it's undeniable but LSU fans get really upset when you bring it up.

They act like you are comparing them to Vandy or something.

They have been the #3 and 4 programs in the SEC over the last 10 years, LSU's NC (even though it's somewhat bogus) and SEC title in 2011 gives them the edge but as you said it's razor thin when you consider UGA was basically 5 yards away from a national title in 2012.

How does it feel to be lsu's bitch in all 3 major men's sports?

In the last 10 years lsu is #2 sec program.
We have finished top 15 8 of the 10 seasons.
Since the turn of the century lsu is the #1 sec program.

Be not fooled by the name. He's absolutely a gump. Check the post history. The entire first page is whining about LSU.

haha told you they get mad. Face it, if Pitt doesn't shock West VA your program is UGA and Miles is Richt. It's pretty much an undeniable fact by every objective measure.

Now, Pitt did beat WVU so you are a notch above so congrats, but it's a very small notch.

LSU will always get the edge over UGA as long as the Head Coach keeps the fence around Louisiana for recruiting. LSU is the flagship school of the state with no in-state recruiting competition.

Up until the last 2 years Georgia only had two fbs teams, Louisiana had 5. Just population wise, LSU will never have the same amount of talent in their back yard as UGA. Never.

Except for the whole playing for 2 other bcs titles and UGA 0.

Louisiana per capita has more talent than anybody in the country and that is evident in the amount of players from LA in the NFL as well as previous players

Thanks. that's all you had to say. Instead you have to make yourself look like an idiot. Why you do this?

Two NC's in 2003 and 2007 are what gives LSU a very big notch over a program without a NC since 1980.
This really isn't all that complicated.

It doesn't fit the OP's troll narrative though

2 others?

The post was in reference to 07-14, the most logical timeframe would be to use 05 since that is Miles's first year.

Nationally respected school: UGA

No it isn't. Solid school, but no school in the SEC is nationally respected, not even Vandy really.

If you go back to 03 sure but that wasn't being discussed here.

Why was 2007- present the chosen time frame?

Dude....logoff.... you are a complete idiot.Seriously.

The OP is about UGA and LSU. Saban won a NC in 2003 and Miles won a NC in 2007. Miles played for another in 2011.
Go to bed idiot.

I didn't choose it, like I said the most logical would be 05 to now.

LSU (and Auburn) are in the "historically strong but not elite" category
since '07, lsu is as "elite" as anyone except bama. auburn and uga, no.

all time, lsu is 12 or 13 in total wins. if that's not elite, is as close as you can get without being there.
