Dude....logoff.... you are a complete idiot.Seriously.
The OP is about UGA and LSU. Saban won a NC in 2003 and Miles won a NC in 2007. Miles played for another in 2011.
Go to bed idiot.
You should read the OP again. Your fit was adorable though.
You should probably also refrain from insulting intelligence when you lack the most basic ability to comprehend what you are reading.

Louisiana per capita has more talent than anybody in the country and that is evident in the amount of players from LA in the NFL as well as previous players
Dude Louisiana had 9 players drafted last year, even Mississippi had more. per capita doesn't mean shite. Georgia is one of the most talent rich states in the country, rt behind Florida and California. They have enough top prospects to fill 3 national title contenders. Louisiana doesn't have enough to fill one.

Both are under achieving programs relative to their resources

LSU has just been able to latch on to Bama lately to help with their perception

I didn't choose it, like I said the most logical would be 05 to now.
Right, because it leaves off the 03 NC.

Lost a national title game in humiliating fashion.
Still won the SEC Championship that year and beat the "BCS National Champion" and the SEC West runner-up in their own house while finishing with the best record in college football.

others?
The post was in reference to 07-14, the most logical timeframe would be to use 05 since that is Miles's first year.
OK so that still means LSU is better than UGA. But yeah lets just throw out bcs titles because they don't fit the narrative. This thread turned into UGA vs LSU. since Richt has been at UGA, he's the coach in question, LSU has been the better program. It's pretty simple.

quote:historically, no. since '07, i guess if lsu tanks like uga has
If that happened UGA would easily move ahead of LSU in the hierarchy.

Your an idiot. Your really basing a history of wealthy talent off of one draft. Go do some research before you make yourself look like a retard

I didn't read the whole thread and was only responding to the OP. I also acknowledged the 07 thing didn't make sense.
I also said LSU has been the better program since Miles took over but it's extremely close.

They have been the #3 and 4 programs in the SEC over the last 10 years

LSU's NC (even though it's somewhat bogus)

razor thin

Black Cloud really hasn't figured out this new internet thing.
He's perpetually lost about what is being discussed in most threads.

if Pitt doesn't shock West VA your program is UGA and Miles is Richt

It's a good comparison. They're basically the same.

You obviously have spent the last 8 years trying to come up with some way to justify that 2007 wasn't pretty ridiculous. It obviously sounds great in your head but when you try to convey it it makes no sense. I'm sorry to be the one to break this to you but I'm sure if you read every single other person's response of essentially "wtf are you talking about" it will start to sink in.

No one has said UGA was better yet all these corny dogs are losing their shite.

BHAMDORE. i asked you to substantiate some of your points. where the heck are you?
what's with the rant tonight? is it still halloween? this thread and the uga/auburn thread. wow.

Since 2007
Since 2014 LSU is the best program in the SEC. The comparison most are drawing is the Miles tenure vs the Richt tenure.
However, I think Georgia is a great program and will be one of the best coaching positions available should they decide to replace Richt.
Richt is a good coach. He seems to rely on emotion too much, though. I saw Minisota's interim coach's pre-game speech. He underscored the difference between playing with "passion", which is sustainable, and playing with emotion, which is not. Richt doesn't seem to get this; Miles does.

IN 2011, LSU:
-beat the defending BCS National Champion
-beat the eventual Big East Champion
-beat the eventual PAC 12 Champion
-beat the SEC East Champion
-beat the eventual BCS National Champion, in their own house
We beat (5) different champions that year: Auburn, West Virginia, Oregon, Georgia, and Alabama.
It was the FIRST TIME in BCS history, that the powers that be, decided to rematch the two best teams in the country. Generally, a team that runs that type of gauntlet is rewarded with, not necessarily an unworthy opponent in the title game, but some form of media cupcake (see Notre Dame, Texas, OSUx2, OUx2, ).
Imagine taken the bar, barely passing it, and the test makers making you past it again, with totally different questions. That was LSU in 2011
